This conference should be of interest to anyone dealing with the relationships between resources and development, both historically and today. The conference will have a special focus on water and development, and aims at presenting on-going research in Norway. Different theroretical and methodological approaches related to the whole issue of contested resources will be presented and discussed. The conference will be organised back-to-back with an international conference on Nile Basin Research.
